“Masenengen, a 12-year-old girl in Makurdi, Nigeria, has given birth to a daughter. The girl was abused and became pregnant while in a refugee camp.
The girl’s father is unknown, but it has been determined that she was abused multiple times before being brought in. This is one of the most recent cases of young girls giving birth in Nigeria. In today’s world, child abuse and pregnancy is a serious problem. We need to come up with solutions to protect children from these dangers.”
