Two newborns in Franklin, TN are honoring two other legendary Tennessee icons, Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley, on their shared birthday month.
On Friday, January 19, 2024, Williamson Health announced the birth of these special twins, who were dressed in homage to their fellow Tennessean superstars.
The newborns, dressed as Dolly and Elvis, donned outfits inspired by the queen of country music and the king of rock and roll.
Both Tennessee legends celebrate birthdays in the month of January. Dolly Parton recently celebrated her 78th birthday, on January 19th. Elvis Presley was born January 8, 1935.

The baby dressed as Dolly wore a crocheted replica of Dolly Parton’s famous Coat of Many Colors, an iconic piece of clothing that her mother made for her during her childhood. This coat has been immortalized in the hit song of the same name, written by Parton herself.

The other baby dressed as Elvis sported a white jumpsuit that the king often wore during performances. The American Eagle jumpsuit, designed by Bill Belew, became one of the most recognized white jumpsuits, notably worn by Elvis during his 1973 NBC TV special, Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite.
