This crocodile with a ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ wish was lucky to live after swimming into a herd of more than 30 very agitated hippos by ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ. In an attempt to capture the animal, the hippos ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋed when they learned the predator was among them, beating downward and lowering their gigantic jaws into the murky water.

Three times the crocodile was discovered, and on each occasion it was compelled to the surface, out of the water, and into the air, where the outnumbered creature could only defend itself by snapping its jaws.

The crocodile managed to escape the “river horses” mouth three out of four times, making its way back to the somewhat secure surroundings of the murky shadows of the pool. The animal looked to flee by hiding in some dense reeds as the herd of plainly worried hippos continued to roar and grunt out their warnings that no crocodiles were welcome.

In Sᴏᴜᴛʜ Aғʀɪᴄᴀ’s Kruger National Park, retired sonographer Harish Kumar, 71, was guided to the Hippo Pool where he shot this incredible video. The group, according to Mr. Kumar, consisted of roughly 18 people. They only had two days left of their holiday, and on a gorgeous day, their guide led them to the Hippo Pool. And they witnessed the sight.
Let’s watch the video:
