Wedding is one of the most important milestones in the life of a couple and the entire family. Being able to share this special event with those we love is a gift reserved not only for our friends and family, but also our pets. Why not?!
Recently, a ceremony held in the state of Colorado, in the USA, made the local press talk.The bride, Kelly O’Connell, decided to include her faithful pet dog, Charlie Bear, on the special guest list, with all the honors he deserved. The Labrador retriever, already elderly, had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had just a few months to live.
Kelly says that, thanks to him, she understood the true meaning of unconditional love. She wanted to be with her dog throughout the ceremony. Charlie Bear lived with his owner for 15 years, since he was a puppy.
After receiving authorization from the veterinarians, who prescribed medication to alleviate his pain, resulting from a brain tumor, the puppy was ready for the big party.h-a-n-h

Katye Lloyd, one of the bridesmaids, took him in her arms and helped him walk down the aisle. When Kelly saw her beloved Charlie Bear, she couldn’t help but cry.h-a-n-h
“He was a very special little dog. He loved everyone he knew, but I was definitely his sweetest little person,” Kelly explained.Photographer Jen Dziuvenis was in charge of the wedding shoot. She said she was thrilled to see the wonderful meeting between Kelly and her dog. “I had a lot of difficulty filming the wedding because I couldn’t stop crying. It was all tears,” she said.h-a-n-h
